MPAPA Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization is to support the artistic and academic achievements of the students in the Glen Cove School District and the surrounding area. This will be achieved through supplementing equipment needs and support of the students attending competitions, both morally and financially, by supplementing travel and lodging requirements. An appointed committee will consider support of individual students through academic and merit scholarships on an annual basis. Furthermore, the MPAPA will promote the achievements and goals of the music and performing arts groups of the Glen Cove School District and surrounding area through word of mouth, advertising, public relations and special events that will best display the talents and abilities of the students.
