The Deasy Elementary School PTA would like to warmly welcome you to our family. We take great pride in our schools and invite you to become an integral part of our community.
The PTA sponsors many educational, athletic, cultural and fun-filled activities for the children from Kindergarten through Second grade. Some of these events include Book Fairs, Auction Dinner, the Thanksgiving Food Drive, the PARP program (Parents As Reading Partners), School Pictures, a Fingerprinting program, Field Day and many other cultural arts and sports events throughout the year.
Parents (Moms and Dads), teachers, principals, superintendents and school boards have a common goal – to maximize each student’s potential and it is the role of the PTA to support that goal through volunteering and getting involved in order to make this next year a very special year in the life of your child. If you would like to volunteer and become a part of your child’s educational experience, please join the PTA. Volunteering requires a small amount of your time, but the rewards are immeasurable.
We hope you can join us at our first PTA meeting on the year, which is held on Open School Night (dates and times to follow) in the All-Purpose Room at Deasy School. You will have the opportunity to join PTA and sign up for events for the upcoming year. Volunteering is a great way to be involved in your child’s school while giving you the opportunity to get connected and make lasting friendships.
