Atlapedia Online
Contains full color physical maps, political maps as well as key facts and statistics on countries of the world. The **Countries A to Z** section, provides facts, figures and statistical data on geography, climate, people, religion, language, history, economy & more.  The **World Maps** section, provides full color physical maps and political maps for regions of the world.  The **Resources** section contains additional school or homework resources for Teachers & Students.

Enjoy an interactive learning experience as you see thousands of hand-selected and relevant links to pictures, slide-shows, videos, audio-clips, artifacts, manuscripts, documents and other primary sources linked, in context, within each story.

Brainpop
BrainPOP creates animated, curriculum-based content that supports educators and engages students. It is ideal for both group and one-on-one settings. All products are fully compatible with PCs, Macs, projectors, and interactive whiteboards. No downloading, installation, or special hardware is required.

eLibrary
 eLibrary has an easy-to-use interface which makes research easy. Content includes more than 2,500 full-text magazines, newspapers, books, and transcripts--plus thousands of maps, pictures, educator-approved websites and top-quality multimedia (audio/video) files. The BookCart feature allows librarians and educators to create reading lists, subject and topic pages, standards-linked lessons and activities, community interest pages, and even pre- or post-assessments

Infotopia
Infotopia is an academic search engine accessing only trusted websites previously selected by librarians and teachers. Infotopia was created by and maintained by Dr. Michael Bell, former chair of the Texas Association of School Librarians.

Kids InfoBits
Kids InfoBits is a database developed especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Featuring a developmentally appropriate, visually graphic interface, the most popular search method is moving from a broad subject to a narrower topic using the subject-based topic tree. The curriculum-related, age appropriate, full-text content is from the best elementary reference sources and magazines. This database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
 
Life
Search millions of photographs from the LIFE photo archive, stretching from the 1750s to today. Most were never published and are now available for the first time through the joint work of LIFE and Google.

NoveList K-8
NoveList K-8 allows you to discover the fiction titles that are popular with young readers as well as titles to use in your classroom. The NoveList Learning Center provides a complete introduction to the product and shows you how to use NoveList to meet the reading needs of your students. NoveList K-8 contains materials for all K-8 grade levels and includes picture books, children's "chapter" books and young adult titles. Updated monthly, NoveList K-8 is your starting place for learning about the books that you and your students need and will want to read!

Storyline Online
The Screen Actors Guild hosts this on-line streaming video program featuring SAG members reading children's books aloud.  Each book includes accompanying activities and lesson ideas.

Teachingbooks
TeachingBooks.net is a time-saving portal to thousands of online resources you can use to explore children's and young adult books and their authors. They provide immediate access to useful materials and exciting programs (short movies, audio book readings, book discussion guides, and more) that add a multimedia dimension to reading in the classroom, library, and home

VITAL New York
VITAL NEW YORK is a free online library of digital multimedia resources for the K-12 classroom presented by Thirteen/WNET. Featuring dynamic public television video and interactive content, this growing collection is fully aligned to the New York State Learning Standards. VITAL NY brings the world into the classroom by providing real-life applications of concepts that engage students and stimulate discussion and learning.

Webspiration
Webspiration™ is the new online visual thinking tool that helps you capture ideas, organize information, diagram processes and create clear, concise written documents whether working individually or collaboratively.

World Book Kids
World Book Kids is designed especially for younger users, English-language learners, and reluctant readers. With content from the award-winning World Book Student Discovery Encyclopedia, the site offers simpler navigation, easier-to-read content, brighter colors, and a graphical design. Thousands of colorful illustrations, diagrams, and maps enrich thousands of articles selected for appeal and curricular relevance. There are also links to Worldbook Online in French and Spanish.
