Welcome to Landing, the Friendly School! As you may have heard, Landing Elementary has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon Award Winning School of Excellence, and we are very proud of this status.
The Landing School PTA works hard to support our wonderful school staff by funding enriching cultural arts events for the students and planning many fun and family-oriented events throughout the year. We hope you will join our PTA membership and involve yourself in our school’s activities. There are so many ways you can help out during the year and let your child see how much you care about their education. There are still open slots for volunteers willing to chair events this year so please contact us if you would like to learn more.
We have worked hard on fundraising for a new playground for Landing School, and we are anxiously awaiting final approval on a grant from Nassau County – we will let you know as soon as we can move forward, and we will need everyone’s help to get this project accomplished!
